From the Head of Machon Shilo, Rabbi David Bar-Hayim:

I hereby address that which I have been asked: It is indeed proper for individuals to resume fasting according to their ability on Mondays and Thursdays, as was advised by the Beit HaWa’ad at the outset of the war. Above all, both those who fast and those who do not must improve their deeds and cry out to Hashem — to give thanks for the past and to plead before Him, may He be blessed, regarding what is yet to come. David, King of Israel, lives and endures. Peace and victory. Be strong and let your hearts be courageous, all who place their hope in Hashem.
